Wow, I have been so busy! This summer I needed to go back to work. I will admit that after 11 years of being a stay-at-home mom who also homeschools, this was scary and stressful at times. I knew I only wanted to apply at one place, the rest would be due to location, available hours etc. Well, I walked in (nervously, it’s been a while...) and they hired me on the spot! I have been working there for a few months and I just love it. The staff is great, the hours rotate so I’m not bored with one shift, I’m learning a lot and dang...the food is amazing. It’s one of those places all the locals know and we constantly hear things like “This is the best meal I’ve had in years!” or “I used to come here as a kid and had to bring my own kids when we passed through town!” It’s wonderful. I am truly thankful.
Also, I want to write again, but have not been able to find the time with all this life-change. I also have trouble sleeping (always have) and my sleep specialist (yes, a specialist) has told me to stay up a lot later. Guess who is back to writing? See you tonight, computer!!
